Winter Germs Update

An update on my post from Saturday... Noah got much worse on Sunday. His bpm (breaths per minute) were between 70 and 80 all day. He was wheezing very heavily, and he kept having coughing fits that sounded like he was gasping for air. As the day progressed, he didn't improve, so we called the nurse and took him to the ER. We found out in the ER that he was getting plenty of oxygen (thank god!), but he did have RSV which had caused bronchitis. We were sent home with a nebulizer to help open up his lungs and loose up the junk in them. With RSV, they say around the fifth day is the worse and then things start looking up. We are figuring Sunday was about the fifth day of the virus, and he has improved immensely since then. He has improved enough that the doctor has given the ok for him to go back to daycare today. We hope this means the end of the road for this illness.

Glad to hear he is much better. Breathing issues are so scary! Hope you guys stay healthy for the rest of the winter. Can't wait to see you tomorrow night!
